How It Started

Our wellness center was established by a woman with a passion for helping others. After working in the medical industry for more than 8 years, she realized that working for others put some limitations on her ability to help people. She decided to start her own clinic that would allow her to service her customers to what will best suit their needs because her goal is to help people in the best way possible.

After going to China to learn more about acupressure and study about the increase of lactation, she established the Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Wellness Center in Raritan, New Jersey. Our goal is to be able to help more people find a safe and effective alternative when it comes to treating their ailments.

Mission Statement

We are here to help you to heal and overcome physical pain and mental stress so that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle and be the best you. Our wellness center believes in holistic healing because we consider your entire being as an interconnected system of parts that always affect each other. We focus on finding what works best for your body and help meet your needs.

Meet Our Owner

Upon graduating, Jieru took an internship in the Gouverneur Hospital in New York City to treat post-stroke patients. She also worked with children undergoing chemotherapy at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. After some time, she decided to go back to China to learn about acupressure to increase lactation production. This was the final step before she decided to start her own traditional healing center in Raritan, New Jersey.

Jieru believes that medical practitioners should be dedicated to the helping of every patient. She says that we have to dedicate time to ask patients questions to understand the extent and root cause of illnesses. This is why we put in our time and efforts to providing the best-customized service that will work best for you.Jieru Sun is a caring and driven person who was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. Guangzhou is well-known in the country for its unique diet and wide usage of herbs. At a young age, Jieru had already learned a variety of traditional healing methods such as herbal treatments, Guasha, cupping, and acupressure. However, she did not initially pursue traditional healing methods as a career.

After moving to America, Jieru went to Binghamton University for her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing. She worked in the financial service for more than 5 years, but she often felt sick. Seeking help, she went to Medical professionals who ran tests and told her she was a healthy individual.

These results contradicted how she felt, so she turned to traditional Chinese medicine for help. To her delight, the healing methods she had always known as a kid turned out to be effective in making her feel better.

Jieru eventually developed a passion for traditional Chinese healing methods. Aside from making her feel better, she believed that she should share this healing process with others who are also struggling as well. To increase her knowledge and ability in the field, she went to the New York City Traditional Chinese Medicine and graduated with an M.S in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012.
